Adamanda's Ixion@Cadwell.1998 Page

Following on from the stupendous success of Ixion@Cadwell.1997, the Ixion mailing list's second track day was more than twice as good! The two-day event at Cadwell Park (on July 23rd/24th 1998) was once again wholly, generously and brilliantly organised by Man-of-the-match Russell Brown.

This page is extremely crappy, just to show a couple of photos. After the trackday we organised some Ixion jet-skiing.

Amanda shows she's getting the hang of it!

Amanda endured her trackdays last year, but this year she's overcome her lack of confidence and is making huge improvements and really enjoying it.
As a rough indication, she took 20 seconds off her previous best lap time for the full circuit!

While I only got one second off my previous best, this trackday felt great to me. The poor ZXR stayed in the paddock most of the time while I rode the ZX-6R!

Amanda again at Mansfield

Amanda managed to overtake approximately one bike in the previous ten trackdays. This time she overtook loads, was thinking of moving up a group, and Mansfield (a tight left-hander with a steep downhill approach) went from being her arch-enemy to being her friend :-)
