Adamanda's Absent Friends 2002

Just like last year, Richard Moore organised a great weekend for ixies to drink to absent friends.

The weather was great, and though we went in the car (again), William Berry lent us his 748 so we could join Andy Cannon's splendid ride, covering 100 miles of wonderful roads.

League of Gentlemen
A sketch in The League of Gentlemen is set in "Stump Hole Cavern", where the guide compares his cave to nearby "Red Scar Caverns". When we found "Stump Cross" and "White Scar" near Hardraw, within a few miles of each other, it was too much of a coincidence :-)

(On the way home we went to Hadfield (in Derbyshire's High Peak) which is Royston Vasey in the programme, but while it was recognisable, it was mostly just a town - no local shops for local people :-) ).

We're really pleased with the quality of pictures we got from our digital camera in Stump Cross.
